No Pig's Brain Soup, Please!

Dear Gail,
I have to tell you how much we are enjoying your new book, No Pig's Brain Soup, Please!  My daughter, Dina, is five years old and was adopted from China when she was one.  We let her choose the books we read to her each evening, and your book is the one she requests most often.  I think it speaks to her on many levels.

My mom lent me a copy of your book and I wanted to write and tell you how much I liked it! It's such a lovely, and real story, and the message in it is so strong. I was moved. I really enjoyed the book, "No Pigs Brain Soup, Please!". I started reading it when I first got it and I couldn't put it down until the very end. It really reminded me of you and your mixed cultures of Chinese and Jewish. I loved the small facts at the bottom of the book and it really helped me understand your cultures more. I really was exicited when I read, about the International Night! It really reminded me of Kolter and the good old days lol. But I think your mom did a great job on this book and I hope she has more in store. Thanks for thinking of me!
